Finance Manager Tyler Sendecki grew up around Fords. With family members wildly passionate about the brand, it comes as no surprise that Tyler would come to inherit that same passion. Starting as a lot attendant at a dealership in his hometown of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Tyler craved a bit more pace than the town of 15,000 could provide, and moved to Edmonton to take business management courses at MacEwan. One thing led to another, and though he had plans to move back to North Battleford, Tyler’s stuck around to become an integral part of the crew at Team Ford for roughly 5 years now.
Despite the fact he now calls Edmonton home, Tyler makes regular trips back to North Battleford to visit his extensive family, which includes 4 siblings. All of those siblings are quite close in age, so Tyler’s grown up in a very close environment. And while he’s got an incredible eye for detail and, as much as he hates to admit it, is a bit of a perfectionist, growing up in a large family really nurtured the laid-back, go-with-the-flow attitude Tyler sports today. While he doesn’t see those siblings every day like he used to, Tyler’s adopted family—his coworkers at Team Ford—provide plenty of opportunity for teasing in the same sort of tight-knit environment.
When Tyler does leave work, he loves to stay active. While he grew up playing both indoor and outdoor soccer, now he’s just happy to—you guessed it—go with the flow. A round of golf or a snowboarding trip are ideal, but Tyler’s just as happy setting up camp with some friends, cracking a couple adult beverages by the fire, and enjoying the company of friends and family. Always willing to go the extra mile for coworkers and customers alike, Tyler epitomizes the family-first mentality that Team Ford prides itself on, and his knowledge of Ford products is second to none. So, next time you’re in the market for a new Ford, come by and see Tyler; he’s sure to be happy to help.
