Fleet Sales Manager Jonathan Stoski likes to keep moving. No, scratch that—he needs to keep moving. Jonathan, perhaps the most energetic member of the Team Ford team, is energized by all the hustle and action at the dealership, the fleet department in particular. For Jonathan and for most businesses, fleet vehicles are tools meant to help get the job done, and he loves to find the right tool to help a business succeed.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Jonathan loves to get outdoors and be active, especially in warmer climates. Of all the places he’s travelled, he considers Hawaii to be like a second home, going almost every year and sometimes twice a year. While surfing and scuba diving are high up on his list of activities, Jonathan is most at home on the beach playing volleyball—which he did competitively for years. A naturally competitive person, the list of sports Jonathan plays is probably longer than the list of those he doesn’t, with hockey, volleyball, snowboarding, and wakeboarding also taking up a good amount of his time. Even when he’s on vacation he still needs to be moving, playing 10 rounds of golf over 14 days in Phoenix recently.
Outside of work or the field, Jonathan is big into cars and woodworking. In fact, it was his love of cars that got him into the automotive industry in the first place. After finishing a marketing degree, Jonathan got a job working a drainage crew with the city. A few years passed and he began running his own crew, but there weren’t many more challenges at the job for him. His mother suggested he get into the automotive industry, and for the last 8 years he’s been at Team Ford (with 2 of those years spent in fleet). Now, Jonathan’s construction jobs are usually relegated to weekend work around the house, although since he’s renovated his own house he definitely has less to do. Now he just works with different kinds of tools, constantly trying to help Team Ford’s fleet customers find the right vehicle for their business. Luckily for Jonathan business in the fleet department is booming, which keeps him busy and engaged. When asked if he were stuck on a desert island with only one album he said, “I’d MacGyver a snorkel set and go for a swim—I couldn’t sit still.” If you’re looking for advice on anything from home renovations to fleet vehicles, come visit Jonathan at Team Ford; just don’t expect to find him in the same place twice, the guy is always on the move.
