A team dynamic, and by extension the Team Ford dynamic, doesn’t work without balance. Quiet, stoic, and with a no-nonsense approach to everything he does, Fleet Service Manager Bob Krause helps provide that balance. It might not be flashy, but Bob is all about getting the job done.
With 32 years under his belt in the automotive industry, Bob is an integral part of the department and has been helping build a strong framework for Team Ford’s fleet business for years now—16 to be exact. In that time, Bob’s seen the fleet department grow exponentially; from a group of 12 people 20 years ago, to 37 today. With a huge focus on building relationships, Bob operates via a straightforward and genuine approach; by building honesty and trust, he believes that customers will continue to return (and spoiler alert, they do). Of course, with the constantly shifting demands placed on the fleet team, there isn’t a one-size fits all solution. When customers need something, they need it right away, and Bob is happy to roll with the punches claiming, “You don’t think, you don’t plan, you just make it work!”
From Alberta Beach, a town of about 1,000, Bob loves being outdoors. Whether snowmobiling, quading, or motorcross, if it has a motor it has Bob’s attention. Into cars as a young child, it should be no surprise Bob ended up working in the automotive industry—nor should it be a surprise that Bob spends his spare time at home tinkering and working in his garage. That same sort of relaxed, roll with the punches attitude permeates his home life as well. He likes watching movies and the NFL, but he’s happy with whatever’s on. A couple of walks a day with his dog, and a good hard-days work is usually enough for Bob to keep him happy, and to keep the balance in his life. Lucky for us, he brings that balance to the crew at Team Ford too.
