There’s a lot of reasons to drive a smaller-sized vehicle: convenience, environmental footprint, expenses, etc. The good news is that Team Ford Edmonton has a wide variety of compact-sized vehicles to fit your needs for a smaller sized Ford vehicle. The only real question is: “which one is the smallest one in our lineup?” Luckily, we at Team Ford made things easier for you to figure that out! We compiled a list of specs measuring the exteriors of each vehicle so you can get a better idea of each one’s size.
Before we get into that, lets do a quick overview of each vehicle being compared: the 2017 Fiesta, 2018 Focus, C-MAX Hybrid, and EcoSport S. Each one qualifies as part of Ford’s compact-sized line of vehicles so we’ll be comparing these four.
2017 Ford Fiesta
Despite its small size, the Fiesta is packed and loaded with features and customization options. It’s optimized for both fun and safety, with voice-activated technologies to keep you connected throughout your journey. You also have a wide array of choices for the engine, between the award-winning 1.0L EcoBoost engine, 1.6L EcoBoost, and a 1.6L twin independent variable camshaft engine (Ti-VCT). It’s perfect for cruising around in the city and hitting the open road!
2018 Ford Focus
Everyone’s favorite compact Ford vehicle is back with more features than ever before. It’s sporty and fun, with enough performance, power, and practicality to fit your needs. The Focus is loaded with integrated safety features, voice-activated audio control, the standard Ford SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and so much more. It’s no wonder the Fusion is one of Ford’s best selling vehicles, and Team Ford’s inventory is full of ‘em!
2018 Ford C-MAX Hybrid
Although its not currently available in our inventory, the C-MAX Hybrid is the most environmentally friendly car in Ford’s vehicle. It has best-in-class horsepower with up to 188 combined hp and a top speed of 137 km/h inside its 2.0L I-4 Atkinson-cycle engine. With multiple available features to choose from, such as intelligent access, active park assist, and rain-sensing wipers, the C-MAX Hybrid combines eco-friendly performance with modern convenience.
2018 Ford EcoSport S
The EcoSport S is part of Ford’s compact-crossover lineup, giving you SUV performance and size with the convenience and style of a sedan. It has a spacious interior that fits up to 5 passengers, while the exterior is nearly 20% smaller than the Ford Explorer which fits the same amount of people inside. Also featured is a 1.0L EcoBoost engine to give you more fuel efficiency for its size, along with Auto Start-Stop technology and an 8-inch LCD touchscreen display for added convenience.

Based on the metrics above, its a pretty close race but out of all the dimensions above it looks like the Fiesta has the smallest ones. It’s wider in some respects, but otherwise its the most compact out of the other three vehicles.
